Carrie L. Rogers

Carrie L. Rogers is the Marketing and Economic Development Manager for the City of Santa Clarita, where she is responsible for economic development, redevelopment, housing, film and tourism and manages a staff of eight professionals. Since joining the City in October of 2004, she has developed a strategic plan to guide the Division in business attraction, retention and expansion efforts, development of a marketing plan, expansion of film and tourism opportunities, and the development of new affordable housing options.

Prior to joining the City of Santa Clarita, Carrie worked in the Economic Development Department for the City of Palmdale for over 10 years, where she wore many hats, including business attraction, retention and expansion, Antelope Valley Enterprise Zone Manager, Foreign Trade Zone Manager, marketing manager and City representative to the Antelope Valley One-Stop Career Center.

Carrie currently serves on the Boards of the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Alliance, Santa Clarita Valley Auto Dealers Association, Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, Santa Clarita Valley Industrial Association, Girl Scouts Joshua Tree Council, and College of the Canyons Advanced Technology Business Incubator Committee.

Carrie earned her Master of Public Administration with Distinction from Cal State Northridge in 2003 and her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton. Carrie is a native southern Californian and resides in the Santa Clarita Valley.
